About Myself

My name is Wu Jing. I live in Kangding, the hometown of many love songs. I have grown up with a very old song called "Kangding Liu Liu de Cheng." I live in a snowy place so I like to look at pure snow-capped mountains, strong yaks, and the blue highland sky. I am a cheerful person living happily in this lively place, and I love to laugh. I like being in a big place so the sound of my laughter can echo in the air. That way, I can feel very relaxed. I love to draw, read books, and watch TV. The only thing I don't like is music, even though many of my good friends like to sing and listen to music. Sometimes when I feel sad, I try to engage with music because many people say that it is one of life's pleasures. I am beginning to understand this.

My home is not so far from school, so everyday when I get home from school, I still have much time to do the things I want to do. My parents give me a lot of space so that I can be an independent person outside of my studies. For this, I am especially grateful to them. At nightfall, I like to sit in front of the window and write in my diary. And, when the stars are out, I like to sit in front of the window and look out at the twinkling stars. At those times, though it can seem too quiet, for me it's one of the most wonderful pleasures. In my family there are my mother, my father, my two sisters, and I. My sisters are very cute.
