He Jia Qiang is a math teacher in the senior school, and also the head teacher for Senior grade 2, class 5. His dream is to be able to teach math entirely in English. Mr. He is a phenomenal teacher, and his students are all very fond of him. In addition, he is an athlete of extreme prowess who has been known to wear shorts while playing basketball in the dead of winter. He also once biked to the valley of beautiful people in Danba in a single day because he was in such a hurry to visit his girlfriend.
Cheng Yuan You is the head of the English department at Kangding Middle School, and teaches at the senior school. During our stay in Kangding, Mr. Cheng was always of great help to us, and took very good care of us.
Ms. Tang is head of the English department at Kangding Middle School's junior school. She is a very sweet lady who is always thinking about other people. In our time here, we often thought of her as our mother away from home.
Lai Xia (far left) is a mathematics teacher from Chengdu. Xu Ming (far right) is a geography teacher, also from Chengdu.
