Every middle school has its own extracurricular activities. Our school often has very interesting competitions. Every school term there are a few of these competitions. According to the school rules, every class can take part. Every grade selects the top three students from the grade, or other students with special skills. These competitions give students a chance to play together, and they also diversify the school life of the students.

Last Friday, we had a balloon pop race. The rules were that every class had a small team of five people each. The race spanned 50 meters, and every class had five balloons. The racers all wore masks. They ran from the start line to the finish line, and when they reached the tables at the end they had to pop the balloons. The first ones to pop all the balloons and return to the start line were the winners. Every class had a very memorable and exciting experience.
